The African Nova Scotian Justice Institute (ANSJI) invites you to our 2024 Annual General Meeting.


The AGM takes place at 5pm, on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the Delmore Buddy Daye Learning Institute (DBDLI), located at 5450 Nora Bernard St. (formerly Cornwallis St.), across the street from New Horizon’s Baptist Church.


An AGM business meeting will take place from 5pm to 6pm, followed by a panel discussion on the topic of ‘Black Mental Health in Justice’.


The panel will be moderated by ANSJI board member, Folami Jones.


The panelists include: ANSJI Special Advisor and former ANSJI acting Executive Director, Robert Wright; current ANSJI Executive Director, Shawna Paris-Hoyte; and ANSJI Board Member, Jude Clyke.


Following the panel there will be a reception with light refreshments.
