Justice Navigation

A Justice Navigator works with youth, adults and their families to help prevent recidivism and navigate areas such as criminal law, family and child welfare, mental health, addictions, and social justice issues.

 

A Justice Navigator may:

​

  • Explain legal processes, rights, and options.

  • Reduce stress and help you engage with the legal system effectively.

  • Help ensure interests are represented, often in collaboration with lawyers.

  • Link you to relevant community supports, social services, mental health resources, or programs to address underlying issues.

  • Support strategies to prevent recidivism and promotes positive outcomes.
