Sarah-Ann Upshaw

Director of Operations, Interim Director of FATU​

Sarah-Ann Upshaw, originally from Three Mile Plains. She is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), with over 15 years of clinical and community-based experience.

 

Ms. Upshaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation from Dalhousie University and a Master of Education in Counselling from Acadia University and as held roles in mental health, addictions, and youth services across healthcare and education sectors. She formerly managed the PLANS program at Dalhousie University and currently serves as Director of Operations and Interim Director of the Forensic Unit at the African Nova Scotian Justice Institute, and an IRCA Assessor.
